Esther Gordon is well known in the art world for her vibrant and colorful oil paintings depicting the lush, tropical Florida landscape. Born and raised in South Florida, Esther has a deep respect and

appreciation for the natural beauty that has decorated her life. Brilliant colors and tones bring life, harmony, and visual interest to this backdrop of palm trees, native plants, balmy landscapes and rolling oceans filled with multicolored fish. She has always enjoyed working in the arts, including clothing and costume design and gourmet cooking.

Esther began actively pursuing a career in art after retiring from BellSouth in 1991. She has received an Associate of Arts degree from Palm Beach Community College, and is working towards a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts from Florida Atlantic University. She’s also studied at the Armory Art Center, and is an active member of the Artists' Guild of the Palm Beaches as well as the North County Art Association. Her works have been featured at the Eissey Theatre, Florida Atlantic University, Jupiter Town Center, North Palm Beach Town Hall, Palm Beach International Airport, and many other local businesses and restaurants. They also grace numerous private and public collections throughout the country. She has had several solo exhibits to date, and is looking forward to many more.
